On September 25-27, 2009 the "Chicago Style" Steppers of Boston Club hosted their first major steppin' event , aptly named "STEPtember to Remember" Weekend. 

   The weekend was well attended, it was a unanimous success according to the guests and participants. Many states were represented NY, RI, NJ, PA, AL, GA, OH, to name a few.  About two dozen Massachusetts cities and towns were also represented.

   Friday night saw about 40 steppers and supporters converged on the Tekoah Jazz Club for the first set of the weekend. The club's regular patrons stood around the dance floor and gazed in amazement as the dancers got their "step on".

   All of the workshops and private lessons with Sarah Teagle were sold out. The main Saturday evening set was an elegant affair at the Sheraton Braintree Hotel. The combination of a great venue with good music, food, wonderful people and lots of steppin' equals a steptacular set.  The weekend's activities came to close on Sunday with a Stepper's Brunch at X&O Restaurant.
 
  Thank you Sarah Teagle for being part our inaugural event. You are an outstanding instructor with a tremendous knowledge of stepping. Thank you for your advice, criticisms, and support,  you have made us  better than before.
 
  Thank you to our business partners and service providers this was truly a team effort.
 
  A BIG thank you to those CSSOB event planners that volunteered many, many, many hours of their personal time to make this weekend happen.
 
Our first steppin weekend will not be our last.
